Arundel Holt Court
About Us

Home

Arundel Holt Court is first and foremost our family home.  We want you to feel welcome in that home.

The house is in part of the oldest beech forest in the country.  In fact, the house is named after these woods - Arundel Holt. It has been added to over the years and the oldest part is about 200 years old and probably started life as charcoal burners' cottages, beech being a particularly good wood for charcoal.

There is a spectacular view to the east.  As it is possible to see for so far on some days the view changes in dramatic fashion.  It is breathtaking to see huge elements like cloud shadows and sun as they move across the landscape.

Despite being in this wonderful, isolated and quiet location Pulborough Station, just over an hour from London Victoria, is less than ten minutes drive away as is the market town of Petworth.

We try to provide relaxed and friendly bed and breakfast in a truly stunning location.  The comments from guests on the Feedback page indicate that we seem to be getting there.  We look forward to welcoming you too.

Please note: we have a swimming pool and if you bring children we will ask you to sign a disclaimer concerning safety.  We also have cats and dogs – just in case you suffer from allergies!
